Fragments (2019)

Ceramics art furniture objects explore the border between fine arts and applied art. Their form is derived from geometric circular shapes of Otto Eckert’s ceramic works, which are incorporated as a negative imprint in his final artefact. Colour is a similarly important creative means Valovič uses to coat the objects and intensely communicate with the viewers. Given their form and appearance, his sculptures could find their practical use in public space.
